What we can help with
- Corrections to province or city data — school boards renamed, transportation consortia changed, closure thresholds updated, or any factual error on a province, city, or methodology page.
- Snow day outcome reports — help us calibrate predictions versus actual closures. If your board cancelled (or didn’t) when we said otherwise, we want to know.
- Press and media inquiries — interviews, quotes for winter storm coverage, and data requests for newsroom use.
- Partnership and sponsorship enquiries — district licensing, app integrations, and editorial partnerships.
- Bug reports for the predictor tool — a postal code that won’t resolve, a city missing from the predictor, or a probability that looks clearly wrong for the conditions on screen.
- Accessibility issues — screen reader, contrast, keyboard navigation, or any barrier that stops you from using the site. We treat these with high priority.
- General questions about Canadian winter weather or school closures — how Environment Canada warnings work, how a specific board makes its call, or what the historical record looks like for your region.

What we cannot help with
- We are not affiliated with any school board. We cannot tell you whether your specific school is officially closed tomorrow — that announcement comes from your board, usually between 5:30 and 6:30 am. Check your local school board’s website, app, or social channels for the official call.
- We cannot guarantee a prediction is correct. We publish probabilities and the underlying overnight weather conditions so you can judge for yourself. No forecast is perfect, and we cap our output at 95% to avoid false certainty.
- Email is the only channel. We do not handle social media DMs or phone enquiries. All correspondence goes through admin@snowdaypredictorcanada.com.
